LinkedIn Signal Launch Aims to "Twittify" LinkedIn

In a bold move, LinkedIn will now merge Twitter and LinkedIn streams to keep their userbase on LinkedIn, longer.

Whilst still in its beta test phase, LinkedIn signal pulls all your Twitter and LinkedIn updates, organises them efficiently, and presents them in a Facebook-style News Feed.

The bonus of LinkedIn signal is to be able to find more opportunity in the Social streams and voices, with the aid of filters, meaning if your business specifically deals with repairing widgets, you can filter the stream to see only relevant items, all day.

This proves LinkedIn is here to stay as a professional platform, and aims to provide more commercial value to its users, other than a 'professional-only' network.
