Promoted Tweets has relaunched, now with more relevance.
We've experienced the test runs with the likes of Coca-Cola and Toy Story 3, but now Twitter says Promoted Tweets is almost ready for general use.
To save Twitterers from being bombarded by ads they don't care about, Twitter now monitors individual Tweets, followers and search behaviours, before displaying a Promoted Tweet on a user's account. The in-stream advertising move has sparked new interest in the platform, including new ads by Virgin, Starbucks and Red Bull.
This means that Promoted Tweets will allow your company exposure to the right types of people, increasing qualified clicks and re-tweeting opportunities.
